The Bereishit Prophecy

Nov 4, 2019 | Prophecy

Is there a prophetic message contained in the first word of the Hebrew text of the book of Genesis?
Does the Hebrew word ‘Bereishit’ – ‘in the beginning’, reveal the plans of the ages of mankind?

One of my favourite study pursuits is the understanding of Biblical prophecy, specifically as it pertains to the end times.

I came across a fantastic video which breaks down the Hebrew word ‘Bereishit’, the first word in Scripture, to reveal a picture of our Father’s plan for the age of mankind.

There are some statements in the video that I do not agree with but one will always find this with any teaching from man. I would however just like to state that I do not align with his statement pertaining to the identity of  Israel and near the end of the video the assumption is put across that the ‘church’ as a whole is raptured away prior to the wrath of YHWH.

Firstly, my position on the identity of ‘Israel’ comes from my interpretation and understanding of the story of Jacob and his name change to ‘Israel’ and what that means.

Secondly, I believe that the Scripture reveals that Yahashua the Messiah is only coming back for his ‘Bride’ prior to the outpouring of the wrath by the Almighty. After this set of events/period Yahushua will return with his bride to establish his Kingdom on the earth for the one thousand year millennium age/Sabbath day. His bride will rule and reign with him during this millennial rule – Revelation 20:6

There are many puzzle pieces to put together to see the picture of the bride. I continueally  search for more pieces as this is one of my favourite end-time topics . There are many clues contained in the feast days and the harvest message. The bride is the ‘first fruit’ of the wheat crop. This bride – ‘first fruit’, is harvested before the tares and the balance of the ripened wheat is separated and harvested.

The seals of Revelation reveal more end -time clues  pertaining to the ‘bride’s’ timing and purpose.

The whole church is not the ‘bride’ as is widely taught in the Christian Church. This erroneous teaching has led to a false hope and has caused most to stop searching for Truth from Scripture themselves.

Those who have not searched out this Truth and who are not ready at the appointed time will not be part of the bride group. There are many who will just adopt a ‘wait and see’ attitude. The Scripture states ‘ A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign’ – Matthew 16:4. Waiting for too long and a sure sign will only leave you wanting.

Please do not perceive my comments on this subject as arrogance or presumptious. I am not claiming that I myself will be part of the bride company. My hearts desire is to be part of this ‘chosen’ group but I am well aware of some of the set-apart attributes of the ‘bride’. Selection will require crucifying the flesh and complete surrender to the will of the Father and His ways.

One must follow the example of our Messiah according to his words in Luke 22:42:

‘nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.’

Yahushua has shown us the way and we must follow his path and example – complete obedience and dedication to the Word of YHWH.

We must surely all desire to be the ‘bride’ of our Messiah Yahushua.

On the timing of the ‘end’ some may quote Matthew 24:36

‘But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.’

Clearly this verse is declaring both Devine Truth and reality but it does not state that we will not know the season or the broader timeframe. It does not state that we will not know the week for instance. What about the year, month or even the week?

We are told in Matthew 24:42 to watch i.e. pay attention:

‘Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.’

Yahushua goes on further in the chapter to say that we must be ready and faithful:

But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?

Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.

  But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;

  And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;

The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,

And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

 Mat 24:43 -51

I believe that Scripture contains all of the clues that are required to understand the timing and season of the end of the age – the close of the sixth day (millennium), prior to the seventh day of rest – the millennium shabbat.

Another timing clue is contained in the statement in Genesis 6:3:

‘And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.’

This prophetic declaration is again revealed through the life of Moses who died at the age of 120 without entering the promised land – Deuteronomy 34:7:

‘And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.’

The mention of the 120 years must be understood as three age cycles of testing i.e. 40 years coupled with the 50 year Jubilee cycle. Look and you will see three distinct ages of 2000 years. And on the third day shall we be raised to life.

This formula reveals the age of mankind. 120 years or 6000 years. Thereafter  mankind will enter his Sabbath rest. Well not all of mankind will enter their rest at this time but those who are the ‘overcomer’ – the ‘bride’.

I believe that we are very, very close now to the end of the age of man – the close of the 120 years or 6th day.

And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

 Revelation 22:17

The attached video is a marvellous study and I believe is too good not to share.
